Terms & Conditions

Last updated: October 2026

These terms apply to every Umrah, Hajj and Ziyarat journey arranged by Shukriya Travels Pvt Ltd, trading online as Shukriya Journeys. Please read them before you confirm a booking.

1. Your booking

A booking is confirmed only when we send you a written confirmation with the final itinerary, hotel names and flight details, and receive the agreed payment. An enquiry submitted on this website is a request, not a confirmed booking.

Where a package is described as a “starting price”, the price shown is for the stated sharing arrangement and the lowest available departure. Your final price depends on your room sharing choice, departure city, availability and any government or supplier charges applicable at the time of booking.

2. Prices and what they include

Prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to availability at the time of confirmation. Each package page lists its inclusions and exclusions; please read both carefully. Prices may change due to airline fare revisions, hotel rates, exchange rate movements, visa fees and changes in government or supplier charges, and we will tell you before you pay if that happens.

Unless a package states otherwise, GST and any applicable TCS are charged on the final invoice. Departure from Indian cities other than those shown in the package itinerary is available at an additional cost, if offered.

3. Deposits and payment

A booking is normally held with a deposit, with the balance due before departure. The deposit amount and payment schedule are stated in your quotation. Instalment plans, where offered, must be followed as agreed.

Payments made by card or online gateway may attract the gateway’s charges. Bank charges, if any, are payable by you. We are not responsible for delays or losses in the banking system that are outside our control.

4. Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation terms vary by package and are set out in your quotation and booking confirmation. Because airline seats, hotel rooms and visa appointments are confirmed with third parties, refunds are calculated on the actual costs recovered from those suppliers, which may be less than the amount you paid. Government, airline and hotel cancellation charges are therefore payable by you.

We strongly recommend travel insurance covering cancellation, medical events and travel disruption for your journey.

5. Visas and travel documents

We assist with your Umrah visa application, but the decision to issue a visa rests entirely with the Saudi authorities. We cannot guarantee approval, and we are not liable if a visa is refused or delayed. You are responsible for confirming passport validity, photographs, vaccination certificates and any other document required for your journey and for the pilgrimage you intend to perform.

Names and dates on your passport must match your booking exactly. We are not responsible for costs arising from incorrect passport details you provide.

6. Health, entry requirements and conduct

Saudi authorities publish entry, health and vaccination requirements, and these can change. You are responsible for checking them for your nationality and for complying with them. If you are unwell, pregnant, travelling with a medical condition, or require special assistance, you must tell us before booking.

You must follow the guidance of Saudi authorities at all times. We are not responsible for the consequences of your failure to comply, or for any act of yours during the journey.

7. Itinerary changes

We may need to change the itinerary, hotel or flight where a supplier alters their offering, a change is required by law or authority, or a change will benefit your journey. We will inform you as early as we reasonably can. If a material change is made and you no longer wish to travel, you may cancel under the cancellation terms in your quotation.

8. Items carried

Baggage allowances are those confirmed in your booking and are set by the airline. Zamzam can only be carried in the way the airline and Saudi regulations currently permit, and must not be placed in regular checked or cabin baggage. We are not responsible for items lost, delayed or refused by carriers or authorities.

9. Our responsibilities

We arrange your journey with care and are responsible for the services we promise in your confirmed booking. We are not liable for failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including government action, airline or hotel decisions, industrial action, natural events, epidemics, or events affecting your own travel documents or health.

10. Intellectual property and website use

The text, images, layout and brand marks on this website belong to Shukriya Travels Pvt Ltd or are used with permission. You may view the site for your own purposes but may not copy, republish or commercially reuse its content or branding without our written permission.

11. Complaints and disputes

If something has not gone as expected, please contact us first on +91 76780 18700 or email hello@shukriyajourneys.com. We aim to resolve concerns quickly and fairly. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your journey is the one accepted when you confirmed your booking.
